Day 1
Day 01- Arrive Beruwala
Upon arrival at Colombo International airport, complete customs and immigration formalities. Meet and greet by our local representative and transfer to Beruwala. Rest of the evening is free at leisure. Overnight at Beruwala.
Day 2
Day 02- Beruwala
After breakfast, proceed for Bentota beach. Travellers love the wide sandy beaches on the southern end of Bentota, with calm water making it perfect for diving and water sports activities for tourists. Then proceed for Turtle Hatchery. They buy the eggs of turtles, hatch them and after a few days of their birth, they are again left in the sea. Rest of the evening is at leisure. Overnight at your hotel in Beruwala.
Day 3
Day 03- Beruwala - Triconmalee
After breakfast, leave for Trincomalee. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and the rest of the evening is at leisure. Overnight at your hotel in Trincomalee.
Day 4
Day 04- Triconmalee
After breakfast, proceed for a full day tour of Koneswaram Temple and Kanniya Hot water spring. The Koneswaram Temple is an old Hindu temple in Trincomalee which is built atop Swami Rock, a rocky promontory cape overlooking Trincomalee. Later, proceed for Kanniya Hot water springs. These are square wells holding hot water at different temperatures. Wells are only 3 to 4 feet deep and you can clearly see the bottom. The temperature is considerably high but varies from one spring to another. Return and overnight at your hotel in Triconmalee.
Day 5
Day 05- Triconmalee
After breakfast, proceed for a Whale watching tour. Blue whales in particular can regularly be seen around six to eight nautical miles east of Trincomalee. With resident and migratory colonies being spotted off the island's south west coast, Sri Lanka is fast becoming a top spot to watch Blue Whales, Sperm Whales and Dolphins. Return and the rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight at your hotel in Triconmalee.
Day 6
Day 06- Triconmalee - Colombo
After breakfast, checkout and proceed for Colombo. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel. The rest of the day is free on your own. Overnight at Colombo.
Day 7
Day 07- Colombo
After breakfast, proceed for a half day city tour of Colombo. Visit Cinnamon gardens, British Administrative center, Military Garrison Sea street, The Gold smith quarters (Pettah), Dutch church of Wolfendhal, Da watagaha Mosque and BMICH- Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall. Later, in the evening, proceed for Galle Face Green. It is a lovely stretch of land almost half a kilometer long by the side of the sea. It is a magnificent place to witness a marvelous sun set over Sri Lanka. Overnight at your hotel in Colombo.
Day 8
Day 08- Depart Colombo
Early morning checkout from your hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight back to India.
